Team ABDA Senior Associate James B. Nees  james.nees@abdainc.com

James B. Nees, Senior Associate, brings to ABDA over 22 years of active duty USAF service with experience in Department of Defense and Department of Energy research, development, testing of gas turbine engines, munitions, armor, and B‑2 Stealth performance areas.  His degrees in Mechanical Engineering (with emphasis on chemical kinetics, thermal sciences, and 3-D dynamics) facilitate special knowledge of:

w  all-source and special-access research, analysis, and reporting
w  maintenance, operation, and stealth attributes of the B-2
    Stealth Bomber
w  domestic turbine engine design, development, and production
w  foreign and domestic nuclear weapon R&D, design, and
    production
w  domestic shaped charge and kinetic energy anti-armor R&D and design

Prior to joining ABDA in 2006, Mr. Nees held positions at the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) as the Director of Operations, Directorate of Data Exploitation; Chief of the Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) Exploitation Division; and as Deputy Chief of AFRL's Turbine Engine Division at WPAFB.
