Bill McCabe, Senior Associate joined ABDA in 1997. He has more than 30 years of government and commercial program management, and business development accomplishments. His experience includes qualifying new business opportunities with client core capabilities and continues through to the writing of winning proposals. Although Bill has broad DoD experience (including Program Manager for the US Army's Special Operations Aircraft), since 1989 his business development focus has been Wright-Patterson AFB.
Bill's experience at WPAFB includes the Materials Directorate where he was the contractor Program Manager for the USAF's very successful "Retirement for Cause" program. Bill also served as the contractor Program Manager for the USAF's PAVE HAWK upgrade program. Bill's experience at WPAFB includes the Sensor Directorate, Human Effectiveness Directorate, Propulsion and Power Directorate, and the Aeronautical Systems Center and SPO's. Bill also has in-depth knowledge of Information Technology, the 554th Electronic Systems Squadron (Material Systems Group), and has worked with the base 88th Civil Engineering Group.
Bill is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College. He holds a BS in Business Management, and an MS in Logistics Science. Bill is a past president of EEMG, a past president of the Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association, and he is the vice chairperson of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce Military and Government Affairs Committee.
